This post is a long time coming! We ended up doing this shoot in two parts…one for Baby Ava when she was just a couple months old, then one for the entire family a few months later at the Palace of Fine Arts. Mama Sarah started as a client and became a friend of mine – love it when that happens! Her son, Ari, is the same age as my son, Cal. It’s amazing how small San Francisco can be – we get to run into each other all the time at mom’s groups or the playground or just walking around the Marina. Sarah and Larry are so engaged with their kids…it was a joy to capture this for them. If you see Sarah on the streets, ask her to sing – she sang lullabies to Ari and Ava that melted my heart….
