You know those families where you just smile in their presence? That is what Kim, Marty and little Hugo are for me. Any of the three of them independently enter a room (or rather playground) and you just feel lighter with them around. So when you group all three of them together?? It’s seriously bliss…I adore this family. Marty went to Boston College with Dave & me, then we reconnected about two years ago at CPMC doing the hospital tour when Kim and I were both pregnant. I am so grateful to have them in our lives…for their light, for their humor and for their overall friendship.

Oh…and Hugo? I wasn’t kidding when I said on Facebook he may need to be checked for Botox. The kid is always smiling. Y’all, he’s two. Two-year-olds are crazy ups-and-downs-and-all-arounds…except Hugo, who is just delighted with life…we can all learn from him!
